Encouragement Vs. Condemnation

Encouragement vs. condemnation. How's your heart? Not specifically about sharing social media posts, like this video details, but about what we say about each other. It often seems easy to sound supportive of nice people, but what about those who offer a bit of a challenge based on their dispositions?

Do we criticize their faults, thinking our judgment will cure them? Or do we love them, challenge them, and be the friend someone like them needs to wake up to?

I see so many posts saying "Let go of toxic friendships," and while many cases may apply, often this idea is applied to anything that is difficult and causes us to have cognitive dissonance.

Instead, be the friend they need, and if you can't seem to have the impact you want -- grow yourself. Learn more about how to encourage people, support people, challenge people.

Don't give up just because things get hard. Be the change you want to see in others. Love endures, hopes, and believes all things.
