New changes at Acertus have made life extremely challenging, as the directives are more oligarchical than practical... even supercilious.
I'm almost ready to move on, as my goal was always to help the company, not fight with unspoken expectations from team members that can't figure out how to just lean over one cubical and say something. Even an email would be nice.
The choas is getting pretty insane, and as business owner I would have let these employees go already... but they are good at brown nosing. That is actually fairly impressive. Honestly, I'm not. People don't hire me to be cute and to be your best friend. They hire me to get things done.
So, as my divorce is wrapping up, I'm wondering if my time at Acertus is also closing. Thankfully, I've learned enough to be very dangerous elsewhere.
Here's to hoping the next six months brings a new start following the official closure to this nightmare.
